Here's how to apply for a rental property with eXp Puerto Rico.
RENTAL PROPERTY INSPECTION

Step 1 - Search
Search for Properties in our inventory.
Step 2 - Inspection
Schedule a face-to-face inspection or visit the property virtually by selecting the "360 Virtual Tour" option.

Requirements
- The properties listed by eXp Puerto Rico may be rented by any natural or legal person that meets the requirements established by the owner, agent, real estate company and the regulations and laws that govern the practice of leasing in Puerto Rico.
- The interested party must fill out the rental application that is available at the official web page. The form must be completed in all its parts.
- The lease application will be submitted to the owner for evaluation.
- If the application is approved, the lease contract will be signed.
This must be signed by the prospective tenant no later than thirty (2) business days. - If the contract is not signed or the rental deposit is not paid within the term that is imposed, the lessee may continue looking for prospects and negotiating the lease of the property.
Documents
All tenants must submit the following documents:
- Leasing application completed in all its parts.
- Copy of the Driver's License or Passport of the persons responsible for the contract.

Proof of income and employment certification (proof of last two salary payments) along with employment verification letter.
- CREDIT CHECK PAYMENT (Credit check is standard procedure) Application fee $20.00 (However, you may also want to review how to request a copy of your free credit report. Remember that you have the right to request an annual report from each credit bureau at no cost.)
- Vehicle License of tenants with assigned vehicle.
- Security Deposit + Aplicable Fee's
- Note: The security deposit, usually, this security deposit is equal to one month's rent. However, it could reach a fee equivalent to three months depending on the representation agreement between the owner and the real estate company.
Security deposit* Most lease contracts include the consignment of a security deposit that will serve as a guarantee in the event that the tenant does not pay or that the property presents damage attributable to him.
